1. The Washington Post: Editor Cameron Barr (@cameronbarr) has been promoted to managing editor at @washingtonpost. Cameron, who has been a national editor at the Post since 2013, will now be in charge of news and features. His work at The American Lawyer and as a Middle East editor at The Christian Science Monitor also provided him with a wealth of experience to use in his new role.

2. The Hill: Political Reporter Cate Martel (@CateMartel) has been named the editor of @TheHill‘s new email newsletter “12:30 Report.” Cate formerly worked at Politico and penned their daily lobbying and presidential election newsletter "Influence." The 12:30 Report will send out a midday update about the presidential election, Congress and other political news.

3. Maxim: Lucy Silberman (@lucysilb) has joined @MaximMag as their new managing editor. Lucy comes from Harper's Bazaar where she was the managing editor for almost two years. She has also worked as a managing editor at Bon Appetit and a special products editor for Playboy magazine.

4. Dallas Business Journal: Managing Editor Jeffrey Schnick (@DBJschnick) has been promoted and named editor-in-chief of @DallasBizNews. Jeffrey is taking over for Paul O'Donnell who recently took the business editor position at the Dallas Morning News. Jeffrey formerly worked as a business reporter at the Morning News before signing on as the managing editor at DBJ.

5. The New York Times: Jodi Rudoren (@rudoren) has been named international deputy editor at @nytimes and will start in January when she returns to New York. Jodi has spent the last few years as the Jerusalem bureau chief. She also previously served as the Times’ education editor and deputy metro editor. Jodi's last name is a combination of her husband's (Ruderman) and her maiden name (Wilgoren).
