This week's highlights include a new deputy managing editor for Yahoo! Finance, a look at The Hill’s new Latino section, and an interview with CNN en Español’s Ismael Cala.

1. Yahoo! Finance: Erin Fuchs (@Esfuchs) is joining the team at @YahooFinance as the new deputy managing editor in early May. She comes to Yahoo! after her recent stint as a senior editor at Business Insider, where she was in charge of law, news and education issues. Previously, she was a senior law reporter at Law360 and is a self-described true-crime aficionado.

2. The Washington Post: Washington D.C. Politics Reporter Abigail Hauslohner (@ahauslohner) is switching to national news at @washingtonpost to cover Islamic and Arab affairs in the U.S.  This new beat has been created to tackle the issues that have arisen with the recent incidents in Brussels and Paris. Abby had recently been covering D.C. politics and government but now returns to issues she specializes in. Her resume includes being the Cairo bureau chief at the Post and the Middle East correspondent at Time.

3. The Hill: Rafael Bernal (@rafael_bernal_) will be the editor of @TheHill‘s new Latino section. Rafael's experience at UPI as a managing editor and on the digital side should be great for this new role and section. "The Hill Latino" is designed to be a go-to site covering all national and public affairs issues involving Latinos in the U.S.

4. TechCrunch: Brian Heater (@bheater) joins @TechCrunch as the new hardware editor and privacy reporter. Brian will be covering consumer electronics and gadgets in his new role and is looking for stories on new hardware technologies that will take over the market. He was previously a senior editor at Engadget and has also worked at Laptop and PC Mag.

5. Kiplinger's Retirement Report: Managing Editor Rachel L. Sheedy has been promoted to editor at @KiplingerRetire. She replaces Susan Garland who recently retired after a decade at the helm. Rachel has been covering retirement issues at Kiplinger for a decade and was responsible for putting together the yearly Retirement Tax Map which breaks down state-by-state issues for retirees. Rachel has also worked at Dow Jones and the Tuscaloosa News.
