1. Daily Breeze: Frank Pine (@fpine) has been named the executive editor of the Torrance Daily Breeze (@dailybreezenews), the Los Angeles Daily News (@ladailynews) and seven other Los Angeles News Group newspapers. He will manage the day-to-day operations for all news group publications across all platforms, including social channels, digital products, websites and print publications. Pine was previously the managing editor of Digital News and has been with the news group for nearly two decades.

2. International Business Times: Marc Perton (@marcperton) has been hired as editorial director at @IBTimes. Perton will oversee IBT's technology coverage and also help develop new technology-centric products. He was previously the creative director of content at Havas Worldwide.

3. Associated Press – Denver Bureau: Rocky Mountain Region News Editor Jim Anderson (@jandersonap) has been named statehouse reporter at the @AP office in Denver. Anderson has worked for AP for over two decades and brings a variety of experience to his new role, including his time as bureau chief in Venezuela, as Caribbean correspondent in Puerto Rico, and as editor of the international desk in New York.

4. Univision: @Univision President of News Isaac Lee has been promoted to Chief News & Digital Officer. Lee will be in charge of all digital functions for the network while maintaining his responsibilities for Univision News. Prior to Univision, Lee spent five years as editor-in-chief of PODER Magazine and chairman at Page One Media, a company he founded in 2005.

5. The Shreveport Times: After 37 years at @shreveporttimes, long-time reporter John Andrew Prime (@japrime1) has retired. Prime mainly wrote for the publication on military affairs and history, but also served as an entertainment reporter/editor and arts critic/music reviewer prior to becoming the paper's senior military reporter in 1992.
